Project:
The Challenge: PLZ is a North American leader in manufacturing specialty aerosol and liquid products. They had been growing through acquisitions across the region, but many of these companies had different identities and often felt siloed. PLZ needed to bring them together under one brand and show employees throughout the US and Canada that they're all on the same team.
Our Approach: We took factories and industry and gave them a pulse and humanity by introducing the many people that play a role in PLZ's success. Because the goal was to show both breadth of the company’s reach but a unified approach we didn’t want to have a million talking heads, so we wrote a punchy narration script that we had multiple people at each location read. We then pieced it together in a way that achieved our stated goal. Playing this audio over footage that showed each facility’s different machinery and products while showcasing many different personalities of the people on the floor led to a strong video anthem.
The Result: A brand film that unified 18 locations under one identity. The human-centered approach turned what could have been a corporate snoozer into something employees across North America, and PLZ customers, could actually connect with.
