The reason we like to call these projects “films” is not the medium (sorry Kodak) it’s the approach. When you think about seeing a great film, it evokes a story that means something to watch. You stop whatever else you're doing and you focus on the screen. So, yeah, we’re as digital as they get, but what sets our “film” work apart isn't just the technical - it's our understanding that every video needs to serve a purpose beyond looking cool.
We know when to suggest a documentary approach for authenticity, when animation works better than live action, and when a simple talking head setup will outperform an elaborate setup. The key is matching the approach to your actual goals, not just regurgitating buzzwords that make your c-suite giddy.
