The
Project:
The Challenge: The #BigTeethJam was a contest that asked local Chicago bands to submit an original song for a chance to win a free music video. The winners, Fox & The Hounds, raked in more than 1,500 votes. Now we had to deliver something worthy of Chicago's one and only burlesque rock band and their new single "How The Other Half Live."
Our Approach: Because of the glamorous nature of the band and the energy of the song, we developed a concept that juxtaposed two separate stories: the band's narrative alongside a little girl opening her new stylish doll and watching her imagination run wild with it. The result was a colorful, high-end fashion style that pulled from the attitude and energy of the track.
The Result: A music video that gave us a chance to flex our creative muscles while spreading some love to the Chicago music scene. The fashion-forward visual style matched the band's energy perfectly and proved that a contest-born project can deliver real production value.
