The Project:
The Challenge:Dinova needed to convince restaurants to join their Preferred Business Dining Program - a platform connecting millions of business diners to restaurants. The pitch had to communicate B2B value (higher check sizes, weekday traffic, business travelers) in a way that appealed to decision makers.
Our Approach:Instead of a stats-heavy sales pitch, we created a character-driven commercial introducing four "personas" - the types of people who bring real dining revenue to their offices and companies. Less PowerPoint, more Guy Ritchie movie titles.
We devised and shot all four scenarios in one day, including in-camera transitions, then incorporated everything into a fun edit with bold, energetic motion graphic typography.
The spot was created for noisy trade show floors originally, but also conceived to be useful for future sales needs.
The Result:A B2B sales pitch that gave the details and stats in a way that was tangible and memorable. By focusing on real people and behaviors instead of abstract benefits, we helped Dinova show restaurants an opportunity they could actually visualize. The persona-based approach also gave Dinova shorter spotlight versions for targeted campaigns, making one production way more useful and flexible.
