The Project:
The Challenge: HL Beverage needed to launch their new cold brew and nitrogen-infused coffee machine to restaurants and convenience stores. The problem: most commercial coffee equipment gets marketed with boring trade show videos and HL Beverage wanted to show how their machine could deliver a coffee shop experience for end customers, so their B2B clients would be interested in purchasing.
Our Approach: We created a product video that sold the experience, not just the equipment. Using motion control rigs for precisely programmed camera movements, we gave every shot a smooth, high-end look. The consistent camera work made simple moments - coffee beans being scooped, liquid pouring - feel cinematic.
The lighting and composition borrowed from coffee house aesthetics: warm, inviting, intimate. Slow motion captured the satisfying details - nitrogen cascading through cold brew, that perfect foam layer forming. Interesting angles and perspectives made the video stand out from typical trade show content.
We created two versions: one with voiceover for presentations and another with text overlays for noisy convention floors. Both emphasized key selling points with simple messaging and deliberate pacing that let the visuals do the work.
The Result: A product video that positioned HL Beverage's machine as premium but approachable. By focusing on the coffee experience rather than industrial equipment, we helped HL Beverage show that their machine could transform any retail space into a destination for quality coffee. The video became a key sales tool for conventions, online placement, and direct sales.
